Rochak Kohli to release single, “Pehli Baar Mile,” December 14th

MUMBAI (December 14, 2022) – Ingrooves Music Group, a world leader in music distribution, marketing and technology, has signed the Mumbai-based R Music label to a global distribution deal. R Music is led by award-winning musician and film director Rochak Kohli.  The first release under the new deal is the December 14th release of Kohli’s single “Pheli Baar Mile,” which is a playful and tender opus on India’s tradition of arranged marriages.

 

“Rochak, an enormous star in his own right, has a true vision for R Music, one which we feel privileged to be a part of,” said Amit Sharma, Country Manager of India for Ingrooves. “Kicking things off with this new single is a perfect way to introduce the label to our audience. We have an ambitious slate of releases planned for 2023.”

 

Kohli rose to fame with his debut song “Paani Da Rang” and subsequent song “Lae Dooba” from the movie Aiyaary. As a label, R Music plans to mine talent from a variety of sources, including singers, dancers, YouTube influencers, video creators, actors, and more.
