Roll Call Records Taps INgrooves/INresidence Artist Services to Form A Partnership Crafted for Today’s Music Business

LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles-based independent label Roll Call Records announced today that they have tapped INgrooves Music Group for worldwide distribution, music publishing and its INresidence Artist Services to provide the promotion and marketing muscle for all the releases on the label. The new deal marks the first time a label has engaged INresidence Artist Services for its entire catalog of releases.

“This first-of-its-kind partnership with INgrooves gives Roll Call Records’ artists the most forward-thinking and engaged distribution, promotion, and marketing team we could ask for,” said Roll Call Records head Rob Abelow. “Together we are well prepared to address the challenges of today’s ever-changing industry with a creative, collaborative, and innovative mindset.”

The partnership comes at a busy time for Roll Call Records as they prepare for a packed slate of releases in 2015. San Francisco synth-rock band Geographer have a brand new album slated for March 2015. ON AN ON, an indie rock trio from Minneapolis, are currently finishing their follow-up album to 2013’s critically-acclaimed Give In with highly regarded producer, Joe Chiccarelli (The Shins, White Stripes, My Morning Jacket, Spoon). The Lighthouse and The Whaler will hit the studio in January with Marcus Paquin (Arcade Fire, Local Natives, Stars) to record their label debut, which is expected to hit retail next summer. And Portland, Oregon’s 11-piece orchestral-folk rock darlings Typhoon will head back into the studio after touring for the past year on 2013’s sprawling White Lighter.

“Over the past few years Rob and his team have built one of the most vibrant independent record labels in the world and we are honored he has chosen INresidence to serve as the marketing force behind all of his releases,” said Bryan Mead, Senior Vice President of INresidence. “We are looking forward to working closely with Rob to continue to develop the great artists on his label.”
