INgrooves Music Group, one of the world’s leading independent music distributors, unveiled today an impressive set of catalog releases from some of the world’s most beloved artists.
The cornerstone of INgrooves’ impressive fall release schedule are the release of 19 separate 7-inch vinyl singles and 8 LPs from one of the most influential heavy metal bands in history, Iron Maiden. Fans are also excited by the December 16th release of a retrospective box set from England’s seminal rock band, The Kinks. Entitled, The Anthology 1964-1971, the 5-CD set contains 139 tracks from the band’s classic years on the Pye label, including 25 previously unavailable tracks, rare demos, alternate mixes and an expansive booklet with extensive liner notes. More projects from The Kinks will follow in 2015.
Other releases sure to thrill music fans are re-issues from Joey Ramone (Don’t Worry About Me, 11/4 on white vinyl), De La Soul (The Grind Date, 11/17 on blue and orange vinyl) and three more from longtime INgrooves artists Thievery Corporation on November 17th (Culture of Fear, The Cosmic Game, Radio Retaliation), following the release of their first three LPs in September. And closing out the year, music fans will enjoy the first four works from Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds coming out on December 16th (From Her To Eternity, The Firstborn Is Dead, Kicking Against Pricks and Your Funeral…My Trial) with six more titles to follow.
Many of these special releases, including Iron Maiden, The Kinks, De La Soul and Nick Cave, are coming as part of INgrooves’s agreement to distribute the BMG/Sanctuary catalog here in the States.
INgrooves Music Group kicked off the Fall catalog extravaganza with the release of a deluxe reissue of Oasis’ (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? on September 30th via Big Brother Recordings. The reissue is packed full of previously unheard demos and b-sides in a three-CD set, a 12-inch vinyl LP set and a deluxe box set with the original LP, a replica of the original 12-inch vinyl, a special edition CD, a 7-inch of an exclusive demo and new liner notes from rock critic Neil McCormick.
“It’s such an exciting honor being able to work with all of these seminal artists who have made such incredible contributions to music over the years and continue to release amazing music today.” said INgrooves Music Group General Manager, Amy Dietz.
