San Francisco – INgrooves Music Group, one of the world’s leading independent providers of music distribution, marketing and technology services to today’s music community, announced today that they have signed independent powerhouse Doghouse Records, as well as LA-based Hit City U.S.A for global distribution & marketing services. French music & fashion brand Kitsuné, has partnered with INresidence/INgrooves in the US and Canada. The announcement was made today by EVP, General Manager of INgrooves, Amy Dietz.

Over the past 25 years, alternative indie-punk label Doghouse Records has built an impressive and varied catalog of over 150 releases, discovering and developing artists that have gone on to sell millions of albums and tracks the world over. Artists under the Doghouse name have sold almost 6 million albums and more than 15 million songs worldwide. The All-American Rejects, with Billboard’s biggest song of 2009 (“Gives You Hell”), is the label’s largest commercial success to date. However, other artists like Get Up Kids and Say Anything have also sold hundreds of thousands of albums and tracks and continue to be hugely influential to the next generation of artists.
Upcoming releases from Doghouse through INgrooves/INresidence include Matt Pond PA “The State of Gold” LP, CONTACT debut LP, Limbeck “Hi, Everything’s Great/Hi, Everything’s Fine” double LP reissue and Say Anything “Is a Real Boy/Was a Real Boy” 10 year anniversary box set.

French-based Kitsuné cleverly bridges music, fashion and design; this unique brand is the brainchild of Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki. The company released its first artist album on 2005 with Hot Chip. Two Door Cinema Club has been the biggest success for the label with its debut Lp “Tourist History”. Upcoming projects released through INgrooves/INresidence in the US and Canada includes the new album from Citizens! “European Soul” on April 14th, the “Rooms” EP from Heat on April 28th as well as Beau’s “Debut” set to release on May 4th and the Kitsuné compilation album “America 4” on May 26th.
Hit City U.S.A. is a Los Angeles-based independent record label and lifestyle brand emceeing the pulse of California cool. Artist-owned and operated since 2008, the label has an inspired track record of picking up new emerging acts that includes PAPA, Lord Huron, Shy Girls, Superhumanoids, Astronauts, etc., Calvin Love, Avid Dancer, James Supercave, and more. Hit City U.S.A. will be releasing the debut LP from Oakland’s Astronauts, etc. this June and the third album from Los Angeles’ Kisses in August. Their digital singles series, “For Immediate Release,” has included music by Evan Voytas in March and Only You in January.
