(SAN FRANCISCO) INgrooves has announced a dynamic spring release lineup, including content from Nettwerk Music Group, Hidden Beach Records and new albums from Cary Brothers, Too $hort and Balkan Beat Box. The announcement was made today by Dave Zierler, EVP & GM, INgrooves.
Nettwerk Music Group is utilizing the ONE Digital platform for mobile distribution of their catalogue including releases from BT, DJ Dan, and Angus & Julia Stone. Hidden Beach Records has recently signed their deal with INgrooves to maximize their international consumer reach.
INgrooves is providing both physical and digital distribution for the new Cary Brothers album, “Under Control,” available everywhere on April 6th 2010. Cary Brothers will perform at SXSW on Thursday, March 18th & Saturday, March 20th and will hit the road in support of “Under Control” in the spring of 2010. Also expected from the INgrooves spring lineup, are new digital releases from Too $hort (“Still Blowin” on 4/6), Balkan Beat Box (“Blue Eyed Black Boy” on 4/27) and more.
“It was an easy decision to team up with INgrooves for the digital and physical release of my new record “Under Control.” The whole internet revolution has brought about so many interesting ways for an indie artist like myself to get attention on the web, and there are new ideas happening every day,” said Cary Brothers. “I wanted to work with a company that sees those new ideas coming and embraces them rather than a company that waits until everyone else is on the bandwagon. While so many labels are stubbornly trapped in the past, INgrooves is the future of music.”
“We are extremely excited about the new label additions and working directly with our artists on the upcoming releases,” commented Mr. Zierler. “We take great pride in partnering with cutting edge labels, and while each client has different needs, it is always our goal to provide top tier service while maximizing the opportunities in the marketplace.”
